The event that has been rumored for months has finally been announced: Blacksburg's second Startup Weekend. It will take place October 3-5, at the Kent Square offices. Frederick Cook, CEO and co-founder of Moveline will be the keynote speaker. Joining TechPad as a sponsor so far are Pointe West Management, Rackspace, CIT GAP Funds Center for Innovative Technology, The Mitchell Law Firm, and the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development. Grab an early bird ticket for $75 before September 3rd. Student tickets are only $50 with a valid student ID.
